I got one after all!

Under the Christmas tree there it was: The Kindle-Reader!

Last year I had announced in big letters on my twitter update that I would not get one ever as I prefer reading proper books.

Well I still do. It is in the house for nearly a month and I had it in my hands maybe a dozen times.

Whenever I take my Kindle in my hands and read I think about my pledge "No Kindle in my house!". Well I broke that one surely. But well there is no chance if you want to read interesting new authors who today quite often do not publish in hard- or paperback any more. And that idea that less trees have to die for books does appeal to me definitely :-)/ Wann immer ich meinen Kindle in die Hand nehme denke ich an meinen Schwur, dass mir kein Kindle ins Haus kommt. Tja den Schwur habe ich sicherlich gebrochen aber was tut frau nicht alles, wenn sie neue und interessante Autoren lesen will, die heutzutage kaum noch gedruckt veroeffentlicht werden. Und die Idee, dass nicht mehr so viele Baeume fuer Buecher sterben muessen kommt bei mir irgendwie gut an
