A few holiday destinations/ Ein paar Orte, wo ich Ferien machen will

If I had enough money and time I would love to go to those places:

India: Ever since I read about Amy Carmichael as a child I wanted to go and see the country.
Norway: I love Sweden, Denmark and A hitchhiker’s guide to the galaxy. I need to see the Fjords.
Chile: I love Isabel Allende‘s Books and I want to see the beautiful landscape
Iceland: Well Volcano’s of course!

Wenn ich genuegend Geld und Zeit haette, wuerde ich diese Laender gerne besuchen:

Indien: Immer schon seit ich ueber Amy Carmichael als Kind gelesen habe wollte ich das Land sehen.

Norwegen: Ich liebe Schweden, Daenemark und Per Anhalter durch die Galaxis: Ich muss die Fjorde sehen.

Chile: Ich liebe Isabel Allende’s Buecher und ich will die wunderbare Landschaft sehen.

Island: Na Vulkane natuerlich!

I feel kind of speechless. There was this young man killing many mostly young people in Norway and what for?
There is a huge famine in East-Africa. Governments and Organisations saw it coming for two years and no one did anything. And we moan about the weather?

I am thankful for the food and drink that nourishes me. I am thankful for the roof over my head, for my family and friends, my health ….. There is so much that we can be thankful for. Let’s start with it today.

Ich fuehle mich irgendwie sprachlos. Da bringt ein junger Mann in Norwegen viele meist junge Menschen um. Und wofuer?

Da gibt es eine Hungersnot in Ostafrika, die sich seit zwei Jahren angekuendigt hat und Regierungen und Organisationen haben nichts gemacht, um sie zu verhindern. Und wir beklagen uns uebers Wetter?

Ich bin dankbar fuer die Nahrungsmittel, die mich ernaehren. Ich bin dankbar fuer das Dach ueber meinen Kopf, fuer  meine Familie und Freunde, meine Gesundheit….. Da gibt es so vieles wofuer wir dankbar sein koennen. Lasst uns heute damit beginnen.

With sadness I have heard the news about the explosion and shooting in Norway! My thoughts and prayers go out to the Norwegian people!
